Full-Time Children’s Advocate/Counselor

Women’s Protective Services has an immediate opening for a Full-Time Children’s Advocate/Counselor. The Full-Time Children’s Advocate/Counselor assumes the responsibility to lead children’s play therapy groups, assist clients with school enrollment/setting up bus transportation, and organize children’s outings for summer. This position will also involve individual counseling sessions with adults and children.

The position will be considered full-time and will include benefits. The position requires a Master’s Degree in Psychology, Sociology, Counseling or other behavioral science supervision. This position will also be open to students completing a Master’s Degree in counseling or a related field if the student is currently in Practicum or Internship I or II. LPC-Interns are encouraged to apply. Bilingual preferred but not required. No phone calls will be accepted. Send resume to:
